Criticism can remain firm while the factual record remains correct.

Report an error

Send the review URL, disputed statement, and supporting source to the editorial contact listed on this site. Specific evidence is more useful than a general objection.

What warrants correction

Material errors about the book, author, publication, quotation, historical fact, or other verifiable claim are corrected. Minor typographical errors may be repaired without a separate notice when meaning is unchanged.

Criticism is not a factual error

An author’s disagreement with a rating, interpretation, criticism, or conclusion does not by itself warrant a correction. Reviews do not change simply because the subject dislikes the judgment.

Transparent updates

Material corrections display a dated notice describing what changed. Substantive updates preserve the original publication date and add an updated date.
